A full day workshop for a group of staff and grantees from the Mott Foundation exposed participants to a number of tools to support distance-independent learning, online collaboration and communication: eGroups, WebBoard, DocuShare, Placeware Conference Center, TimeDance, Instant Messenger. Part of the workshop was set aside for a brainstorming session, during which participants explored the issues of applicability of the tools to their own specific needs and circumstances.
