CHICO Workshop for Museum Professionals and K-12 Educators

CHICO (Cultural Heritage Initiative for Community Outreach) prepared and hosted this event as an opportunity for teachers and museum professionals to come together to learn how to optimize the use of cultural resources in the classroom, with an emphasis on digital collaborations. It consisted of formal presentations, roundtable discussions, hands on technology training, site visits to local collections, and opportunities to meet directly with representatives from museums and local school districts. ACT was invited to provide technological expertise to roundtable discussions.
