Technology Enhanced Learning Communities (CoTelCo) seeks to provide
a highly interactive collaboratory environment for its participants
to explore geographically distributed collaborative learning and
complex, cross-national virtual teams. |

The Alliance for Community Technology helped
launch this pioneering experiment in distance-independent education
in 1999. Using a cluster of commercially available, Web-based
technologies, a course is delivered, simultaneously, to students
from several universities in the US and in South Africa. |
