ACT is providing technological consultation
to a project aimed at improving reproductive health services in
Brazil, Bolivia, and possibly other Latin American countries by
encouraging communication and providing ongoing training among health
care workers. The three partners in this project: the University
of Michigan School of Public Health, the Population Council of Brazil,
and Reprolatina, a private, non-profit organization in southern
Brazil, are looking at Web technologies as tools that may help achieve
this goal, and decided to tap into ACT's significant expertise in
this area.
